  • The Foundation’s Master Classes extend our collaborative design methodology to academic and professional environments worldwide. Each class combines Sensing Space, Poetry, and Presentation Technique — three interrelated tools for developing creativity and communication. Through Sensing Space, participants learn to think through the body — using movement, observation, and material engagement to explore how ideas take spatial form. Poetry introduces rhythm, metaphor, and language as methods for shaping thought, helping designers articulate the emotional and cultural layers of their work. Presentation Technique — what we call the Act of Art — brings it all together, teaching clarity, storytelling, and presence as essential means of sharing ideas across disciplines and audiences. Master Classes have been conducted in collaboration with the Library of Alexandria, the Alexandria Mediation Research Center, YACademy in Bologna, and the Universität der Künste in Berlin, with new partnerships under development with universities and cultural institutions across the world. Each session combines lectures, workshops, and collaborative projects addressing real-world challenges. The emphasis lies on cooperation, empathy, and creative experimentation — preparing participants to use design as a tool for social and environmental transformation.
